The Spokane Spine Center is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our growing practice. Become a part of an independent practice and enjoy the lifestyle of a non-corporate work environment. Our primary model is in the treatment of acute and subacute injuries. The ideal candidate is an intelligent, upbeat and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, interacting seamlessly with patients, office staff, referral sources and physicians. Employment Type: Full-time. Profit sharing, 401K, health insurance options. Pay dependent on experience. $90,000-100,000/year. Shift: Flexible days Monday-Friday Location: North Spokane near Holy Family Hospital Location Details: Outpatient clinic Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited PA Program and certification approved or recognized by the State of WA
  • DEA license or willing to apply for a DEA number
  • ACLS/BLS certifications or willing to obtain.
  • Unrestricted WA license

Job description:

  • Performs a wide range of activities, which include but not limited to: history & physical, assessment and plan in the care of traumatic and non-traumatic injuries and neurological disorders.
  • Monitors patient progress after interventions
  • Maintains patient medical records according to established standards
  • Maintains communication with the supervisory/attending physician(s) to review patient records and care plans as needed in the interest of best patient care.
  • Ability to collaborate with staff and referral sources as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of resources for the patient/family.
  • Managing practitioner-dependent calls from patients.

Learning opportunities: Botox injections, management of intrathecal pumps for malignant/non-malignant pain and movement disorders, minor procedures


  • Pain, Physiatry, Occupational, Orthopedic or Neurology interest/background is preferred. We are willing to train and we are certainly open to recent graduates.
  • Must be able to diagnose and prescribe interventions through interviews and physical exams.
  • Effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to code encounters appropriately and pass periodic coding audits.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, yet interacts as a team member with all levels of clinical staff
  • Understand standard sterility procedures
  • Be open to growth opportunities
