V5 Spine Center & Pain Clinic is recruiting a full-time Physician Assistant to work in a busy Interventional Pain Management Practice.  Qualified candidates are expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to patients in a team oriented work environment, while also being passionate about their profession with quality as a primary focus.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, can work independently, and have advanced problem solving skills while understanding their own limitations.  
Job Responsibilities / Duties would include:
•    Complete accurate and thorough documentation of all patient encounters in EHR system
•    Obtain, update, and review medical histories
•    Perform physical examinations
•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests (UDT, radiologic exams, EKG’s, laboratory studies)
•    Determine, execute, and manage treatment plan
•    Perform post-op / post-procedure evaluations
•    Pharmacologic management of pain and related conditions / prescribe and manage medications
•    Supervises Medical Assistants and other staff or personnel providing direct patient care and assumes responsibility for daily clinic management
•    Instruct and counsel patients regarding health conditions, health maintenance, and prescribed treatment plan
•    Provides support for recommended actions regarding individual needs of patients and refers patients to appropriate health care providers and/or community resources
•    Participates in case management meetings and staff meetings
•    Assists in the provision of in-service training of all clinical and other personnel
•    Completes necessary billing forms and billing codes
•    Development of new patient referrals and community  awareness of our services
•    Performs other tasks as required or as assigned by the Supervising Physician and/or Medical Director
•    Maintain a positive working relationship with staff
•    Other duties as designated by the Medical Director or Chief Executive Officer
Required Education/Experience and/or Licensure/Certifications
•    Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
•    Have a National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date
•    Active WA license
•    Active DEA license
•    Current BLS (CPR/AED) Certification
Minimum Requirements
•    Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•    Excellent Communication Skills
•    Excellent Customer Service (Bedside Manners)
•    Ability to work as a team player and work independently
•    Full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch break) or 8am-4:30pm (30 min lunch break)
