The Physician Assistant (Teaching Associate) is a member of the interdisciplinary collaborative team working with the Orthopaedic surgeons at the University of Washington Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center. Responsible for providing orthopedic services independently and collaboratively with appropriate privileges. Includes, allocating time in specialty area of orthopedics by assisting with surgeries or procedures, serving as consulting clinician in the hospital, and/or triaging and treating patients who present to the clinic and/or Emergency Department.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
2. Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
3. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
4. Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in the care of orthopaedic patients.

Experience in orthopedic, focused on surgical specialty in spine
