We are recruiting Physician Assistants (Teaching Associates) to partner with our orthopaedic surgeons at the University of Washington Medical Center and Northwest Hospital. Our Physician Assistants work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team that in addition to orthopaedic surgeons may include primary care and rehabilitation physicians, orthopedic residents, other advanced practice providers and nurses. Our PAs are responsible for providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We are currently recruiting PAs to cover practices involving total joint surgery, spine surgery, hand and upper extremity surgery, sports medicine surgery, as well as general orthopaedics. There are opportunities to enhance pay by covering nighttime and weekend call.

REQUIREMENTS: 1. Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License. 2. Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA--‐C with DEA. 3. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment. 4. Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in the care of orthopaedic patients.

DESIRED: Experience in orthopaedic care preferred but we can train motivated and talented individuals.
