01/22/2021: The MEDEX Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington seeks Physician Assistant Clinical Coordinator faculty at its Seattle, WA campus. This is 12-month non-tenure track position.
Rank:   Lecturer, Part time (up to 80% FTE); requires a Master’s Degree
Clinical faculty responsibilities include development and nurturing of clinical rotation sites and preceptors, managing student placements throughout the second (clinical) year, developing and maintaining the clinical year curriculum, and supervising clinical end-of-rotation activities.
Faculty assist in all aspects of the program including student recruitment and the development, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum associated with the program. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.  Faculty additionally participate in admissions activities, scholarly activity, committees, as well as other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Teaching experience in either a classroom or clinical setting
  • A Master's degree
  • Current NCCPA certification or equivalent and two years of clinical experience
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
