Peninsula Community Health Services Job Summary The Advanced Practice Clinician is responsible for providing primary medical care to patients. • Analyze medical history, reports, findings of tests, and examination to determine conditions/diagnosis and provide appropriate treatments • Promote health by advising patients about diet, behaviors, and methods for prevention of disease • Perform procedures within scope of primary care program and the providers surgical competency/privileges • Refer patients to medical specialist for consultant services when necessary • Assist in outreach efforts as requested • Share in the after-hours calls as appropriate • Familiar with using electronic health record (Ex. Athena) • Monitor, and where applicable, oversee relevant provider and care staff to ensure delivery of care • Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct reports. Qualifications • Active ARNP or PA-C License in Washington State (required) • MAT Waiver within 120 days of hire (required) • Active DEA Certification (required) • Active CPR Certification (required) • Valid driver’s license (required) Skills Must have excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; to receive and respond well to feedback. Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; time management and organizational skills, including being punctual, responsive, and efficient. Perform job with professionalism and good judgment.
