We are recruiting a full-time physician assistant at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join our total joint replacement service at the University of Washington Medical Center, Northwest Campus. The successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will be expected to have effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in the care of orthopaedic patients. Our physician assistants are responsible for providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position is on an annual appointment with a 12-month service period (July 1 - June 30) with a flexible start date in the summer of 2022.

Qualifications:

  1. Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
  2. Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
  3. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.

Desired:

  • Experience in orthopaedic care preferred but we can train motivated and talented individuals.
